Derby Still Interested In Vaughan

James Vaughan could make a return to Derby after Nigel Clough expressed an interest in signing him again.

The 22-year-old saw a previous loan spell at Pride Park cut short by injury, however, Clough hopes to bring him back on loan from Everton again.

"We are still trying to get a striker in and we are still talking to people about that.

There are a few who interest us and James is one of them."

Clough was talking to the media.

Vaughan is just one of a few strikers that Clough has in mind and we do need to bring in a striker that can find the back of the net, I must admit that I worry about Vaughan's ability to stay fit though as we need a striker that can do that.

Cant see him getting any games for us this season so I can see him going out on a loan to buy option. Its a shame though as he is well loved by the Everton faithful but has never kept his fitness or form up for long enough to have a fair crack

I think a loan (without an option to buy) is the best thing for Vaughny. I think that if he can keep injury-free he's got a great future at Everton. I love the way he plays without fear.
