Transfer Roundup

After being released during the summer former Rams` Gary Teale and Jay McEveley both appear to have found themselves new clubs. On Friday Gary Teale put pen to paper on a two year deal with Sheffield Wednesday, becoming their sixth summer signing as The Owls look to bounce back at the first attempt after suffering relegation from the Championship on the last day of last season. Jay McEveley is also heavily rumoured to be joining him in South Yorkshire with the defender set to join Barnsley at the beginning of next week according to reports.

On the other side of the coin Gareth Roberts and Tomasz Cywka both completed their moves to Pride Park as the players returned for pre-season training on Thursday. The pair had agreed deals to join Derby earlier in the summer but both had to wait until their current contracts expired before being able to join The Rams on a permanent basis on July 1st. There were also further outgoings with the news that Lee Croft had joined Huddersfield Town on a six month loan were he teams up with former team-mate Lee Clark who is the current manager at the Galpharm Stadium.
