Sullivan Named New Head Physiotherapist

Neil Sullivan has been named as Head Physiotherapist as Nigel Clough makes changes to his backroom staff ahead of the upcoming campaign. Sullivan took the role of Acting Head Physiotherapist in the later stages of the 2009/10 season when Alan Tomlinson, the previous incumbent, departed the club in April. Clough has decided that Sullivan deserved his chance in a more permanent role and told dcfc.co.uk:

'We're pleased Neil has accepted our offer to become Head Physiotherapist. He is a well respected member of staff and along with Matt Brown and Steve Haines we're pleased with how our medical team is shaping up. The emphasis is about keeping the players on the pitch this season rather than pushing to get them on it, and the medical staff shares the same vision and approach.'
