Savage Looks Forward To New Season

As the players are set to return to pre-season training before the start of the new campaign Robbie Savage has been making his voice heard again ahead of what may well be his last season in a Derby shirt. The Rams` captain, recently named as co-host of 606 on Radio Five, is looking forward to the new season and the opening day clash with Leeds United telling dcfc.co.uk:

"I can't wait for the big kick-off and I would imagine Elland Road will be more or less full for the game. Leeds have been striving to get back into the Championship for some time and I am sure they will want to kick off with a win. The opening games look quite tasty and I'm really excited about the season ahead. I may be 36 this year but I feel as good as ever and I can't wait to get stuck in again.'
