Cywka Joins Derby

Cywka Joins Derby

Tomasz Cywka has agreed to sign for Derby following his successful loan spell at the end of last season.

The 20-year-old striker has signed, to Nigel Clough's pleasure, a two-year contract as his Wigan contract ended.

"We're delighted to have Tomasz signed up for two years His performances towards the end of the season were impressive and we were delighted with what we saw.

He instantly struck up a rapport with the supporters who took to Tomasz straight away.

Tomasz isn't the finished article by any means, but he has plenty of talent and potential.

We're confident he can develop with us and become a very good player for years to come in a Derby County shirt."

Clough was talking to the official website.

Cywka is a good signing for us and I, like Clough, feel that the Polish international has a lot of potential and we'll benefit from having him at Pride Park in the years to come.
