'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Cywka Joins Derby

Nigel Clough moved to bring Tomasz Cywka to Derby on loan until the end of the season yesterday.

Cywka has struggled to break through for Wigan but the forward is someone that Clough thinks can offer us something for the remainder of the season.

"Tomasz is a talented footballer and someone we have seen on a few occasions whilst taking in games.

We believe he can bring something to the squad and he certainly gives us another option in that attacking area."

Clough was talking to the official website.

The 21-year-old, who joined the Premier League side from Gwarek Zabrze in 2006, has only made two first team appearances for Wigan but this move will give the Polish youngster that much needed opportunity at playing some first team football.
