Commons Out Again

Kris Commons' stop start season has seen the breaks slammed on once again due to another injury setback.

The Scottish international had to come off early in the weekend defeat against Swansea and Nigel Clough has confirmed that scans on his hamstring have revealed that Commons will be out for at least a month.

"The scan has confirmed what we feared and it does mean we will be without Kris for at least a month.

It is undoubtedly a blow because he has been excellent in recent weeks.

He will need to show the same determination and commitment to come back from this latest setback."

Clough was talking to the official website.

The midfielder has had a tough time with injuries over the past 12-months but has been, as Clough rightly pointed out, in excellent form recently so this latest injury setback is a blow for club, country and of course Commons himself.
