Young Gunner becomes Ram

The Rams have signed young striker Gilles Sunu following a drawn out transfer saga which has lasted for months.

He has signed for the rest of the season and Nigel CLough is delighted with the capture of the young talent: 'We've been monitoring the progress of Gilles for quite a while and it has been no secret we've been looking to get him to Derby County.

'It has taken a little while to get everything done, but we're delighted we've been able to secure a deal with Arsenal to bring him here.

Clough went on to describe the striker's qualities: 'He brings us some raw pace up front which compliments what Rob Hulse, Kris Commons, and Chris Porter provide for us right now.

'Gilles is still young and learning the game, so it is a great opportunity for him to develop and in turn we hope Derby County can benefit as well from having him with us.'

Sunu will be in the squad for the Championship fixture against Swansea tomorrow afternoon.
