Rams Close In On Arsenal Striker?

Nigel Clough hopes to secure the loan services of Arsenal youngster Gilles Sunu.

The 18-year-old could come to Pride Park on loan until the end of the season if Clough has his was.

"We are still working and waiting to hear from Arsenal on that.

We would certainly like him in if we could, and if we could get him in before Saturday then even better."

Clough was quoted on skysports.com.

Sunu, a Togo born French U19 international striker, has made two first team appearances for Arsenal since joining the Londoners in 2007. These appearances both came this season in the Carling Cup and Champions League.
