Missed Chances Punished But Clough Happy Overall

Derby were seconds away from a win at Bramall Lane but an injury-time goal meant we had to settle for a 1-1 draw with Sheffield United.

Nigel Clough knows that our failure to score that second goal, and we had chances to do that, is what cost us but he was still very happy with an excellent away performances against a top Championship side.

"A couple of things cost us, and one of them was failing to get that second goal.

We were comfortable and should have been two or three up by the time that went in.

We had plenty of opportunities to begin with and should have been out of sight. But, overall, I thought our performance was excellent."

Clough was talking after the match.
