Clough: A Big Result For Us

It was a case of we came, we saw, we conquered for Derby at Peterborough on Saturday after the 3-0 win.

Nigel Clough knows that the win was a big one for the Rams however he also admits that we played better against 11 men than we did 9!

"Obviously it was a big result for us. To go away and score three goals, collect three points and keep a clean sheet was very pleasing.

Although I don't think we played as well against nine men as we had against 11."

Going down to 9 men would've made a difference of course but Clough didn't think that there could be much complaint with these sending's off.

"Their player's feet were off the ground for the first red card and DJ (Campbell) was through on goal with only the goalkeeper to beat for the second."

Clough was talking after the match.
