Young Ram Signs New Deal

Jermaine Johnson is still to make his Derby debut, and has even been loaned out to Stafford Rangers this season, but this hasn't stopped him being given a new contract.

The 19-year-old came through the Rams academy after he was picked up following his release by Chelsea as a schoolboy and the defender signed a short-term professional deal last summer, which has now been extended until the end of the season.

Sometimes loaning out player just to get first team games, does the player good and he comes back wiser and better prepared.
