Clough: We Were Poor So Got Nothing!
Sometimes you don't get what you deserve in football, or life in general, then again other times you get just what you deserve.
A defeat, and it was 2-0, was what Nigel Clough felt we deserved against Doncaster at Pride Park on Saturday as we were poor after some good performances before this.
"Our first 45 minutes was extremely disappointing, on the back of our last four performances and results.
When you put such a poor one in, and give a goal away as we did, it makes it extremely difficult to get anything out of the game.
There's no excuse for not doing the basic things right. That is the reason we didn't win the game."
Clough was talking to BBC Radio Derby.
