Clough To Find Cover For Vaughan
James Vaughan isn't likely to play against for Derby until mid-December, if he does again before his loan ends so Nigel Clough will be seeking reinforcements.
The 21-year-old is going to stay with us as Clough is still keen to see the striker in action for us again, and if this isn't before Christmas he's toying with the idea of extending this loan from Everton in the new year, but in the mean time a new striker is needed.
Sam Vokes was close to a move to Pride Park at the end of the summer transfer window but this broke down when Rob Hulse remained with the Rams so Vokes stayed with Premier League Wolves. The Welsh international was linked with Coventry, but this deal fell through so he's again being linked with a possible loan move to us again.
