Abalimba Joins Derby
Derby have signed youngster Medi Abalimba from Southend.
The 17-year-old midfielder has previously has trials with Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United but Nigel Clough has managed to convince Abalimba to come to Pride Park for an undisclosed fee.
Abalimba is expected to play a major part in our youthful reserve side this season but could break into Clough's first team in the not too distant future, most probably not this season though?
