'If It's Football, It's Vital'
Clough Still Eager To Strengthen
With the new Championship less than a week away Nigel Clough is determined to strengthen the side yet further.
"We'd like to bolster the squad and we've asked about a midfielder and defender.
We're still waiting for a decision from a couple of league clubs."
Clough was talking to BBC Radio Derby.
The Rams boss has made no secret of his desire to strengthen, and strengthen in those areas, so hopefully he'll be able to go so in the next few days but if not we've still got until the end of the month!
Blackburn Rovers' striker come midfielder Paul Gallagher is today being linked with a move to Pride Park, so if there's any truth to that one then he could be one of those that Clough's "asked about?"
