Davis Settlement Close
Rams boss Nigel Clough expects an agreement to be reached with Claude Davis this week over the termination of his contract.
"We have been negotiating for a while now but I think it is imminent and will happen this week.
We are just waiting for confirmation. He is out of the country but we are hoping to get it all sorted this week."
The Jamaican international hasn't had a happy time at Pride Park since his arrival two-years ago, and the settlement on his final two-years of his contract is in the best interests of all concerned.
