Former Directors Serving Jail Time
Former Derby directors Andrew MacKenzie, Murdo Mackay and Jeremy Keith have all been jailed following their convictions for their involvement in a fraudulent takeover of the club.
Former Finance Director MacKenzie and Director of Football Murdo Mackay were both handed three-year jail sentences for fraud with former Chief Executive Jeremy Keith given an 18-month sentence for falsifying documents. All three, who almost killed the club, claimed almost half a million in secret commission from a £15m loan they arranged.
David Lowe, a legal adviser, laundered a large amount of money from the secret commission claimed, was handed a two-year sentence.
Justice has certainly been served!
