Clough: There's A Lot Of Interest In Liam

Liam Dickinson continues to attract attention and now Derby Nigel Clough has spoken of this interest as we continue to appear to look to be showing him the door, if the price is right.

"There are a couple of League One clubs who have submitted offers for him and we are just trying, like others clubs are doing to us, to maximise the situation and get the fee up a little bit.

But, yes, there is a lot of interest for Liam at that level."

Clough was talking to the Evening Telegraph.

Dickinson seems to be a highly sought after striker, but the common theme with those interested in the 23-year-old seems to be the fact that they are League One clubs which makes you think that the Championship could be a stop too far for the striker?

Norwich have had offers turned down, Charlton have also been reported as being interested but it now seems as though Brighton are the frontrunners, but they'll need to come up with a price that meets our requirements and that would be around 500,000 minimum I'd expect.

I'd think that 500,000 would be enough to see Dickinson leave for good?
