Rams Eye Randall Loan

Nigel Clough has said that a midfielder with Premier League quality is what he would like to bring in and Adam Pearson has confirmed that we could try to bring Mark Randall in on loan.

"Mark Randall is a player we are certainly aware of and falls into the bracket of the type we are looking to bring in on a long loan."

Pearson was talking to the Evening Telegraph.

Reports have grown over the past few days that we were looking to sign the Arsenal midfielder on loan so if we can bring him in on loan for a while, or the season like we did his young Arsenal team mate Nacer Barazite last season, it would be a good deal for the club.

The 19-year-old has featured for Arsenal's first-team in the Premier League, Champions League and Carling Cup, making 11 appearances to date.

Barry Bannan, who we had on loan from Aston Villa last season, also remains another loan option.

I've tried to find out more about Randall from Vital Arsenal but not got any reply.
