Team of past Rams Players

Team of past Rams Players

Here's just something for fun, I had a look at some old players of the Rams and where they are playing now, this is the strongest team I believe we could make up of past Rams players still playing football.

Players were picked on a number of factors including; past performances for the Rams and indeed form for their current club. Feel free to comment or make other suggestions if you feel any player has been overlooked.

A possible Derby County Select team made up of past DCFC players still playing today at different clubs:

Goalkeeper:
Lee Camp

Defenders:
Left Back: Danny Higginbotham
Centre Back: Chris Riggott
Centre Back: Darren Moore
Right Back: Michael Johnson

Midfielders:
Left Wing: Tommy Smith
Centre Midfield: Tom Huddlestone
Centre Midfield: Lee Carsley
Right Wing: Rory Delap

Strikers:
Kenny Miller
Grzegorz Rasiak

Subs:
Lee Camp
Andy Todd
Matt Oakley
David Jones
Deon Burton

REMEMBER - They must have signed for the Rams on a permanent contract (not loan - possible future idea! Rams team made up of players who were on loan at the Rams) and still be playing football for a club. Onwards and Upwards.

The Goose.

I just hope this is the year that Cloughie can get Derby back on track and looking for promotion. Oh, and keep the pressure on locally by winning at the Ricoh!
