Former Norwich Midfielder To Train With Rams
Mark Fotheringham, who left Norwich after their relegation, has said that Nigel Clough has invited him along to Derby for pre-season training.
Fotheringham was expected to join Coventry, and still might, but wants to keep his options open.
"I am not going to commit to anything.
I am a free agent and it is a great position to be in approaching the new season.
Derby gaffer Nigel Clough has invited me to start pre-season training with them and I like the idea of that."
Fotheringham was talking to the Coventry Telegraph.
If Clough has invited the former Norwich captain along to pre-season training with us this isn't a bad thing as this gives him the chance to have a look at the midfielder before deciding what to do, if Fotheringham would be happy to stay?
The 25-year-old left Norwich this summer when his contract expired with the former Championship side.
