Hulse Claims Player Of The Year Award
Rob Hulse has been rewarded for a fine debut season with Derby by picking up a host of end of season awards.
In what has been an otherwise disappointing season on the whole, but one that could've been worse, Hulse has shone. His appearances and 18 goals so far saw him pick up the Players Player of the Year as well as the Supporters Player of the Year. He was also awarded for most appearances and for being our top goalscorer.
These are all awards that are richly deserved by the £1.75m signing from Sheffield United last signing, arguably Paul Jewell's best bit of work during his time at Pride Park?
Unsurprisingly the breakthrough season of Miles Addison, who has been missed since picking up his injury, has seen him named Young Player of the Year and Kris Commons was awarded the Goal of the Season for his winning goal against Man United in the Carling Cup semi final first leg win.
Mark O'Brien, a 16-year-old defender, was named the academy Player of the Year and Henrik Ojamaa, a striker, awarded the Scholar of the Year.
