Praise For Match Winner Hulse
Rob Hulse's 18th goal of the season secured our Championship safety for another season, although a draw would've done, and this earned him praise from Nigel Clough.
"The game certainly wasn't a classic but if anyone was going to get the winning goal there was no one more fitting than Rob Hulse.
"He's been excellent all season and it was lovely for him to score the winner."
Clough was talking after the 1-0 win over Charlton.
Hulse has been one of the real successes of the season for Derby, when there haven't really been that many in all truth have there. A few eyebrows were raised when Paul Jewell signed him from Sheffield United last summer but he's more than repaid his price tag and will do so again next season as well, hopefully scoring the goals to see us challenging at the right end of the table!
