Varney Will Be Back In The Fold Immediately
Luke Varney returns next week when his loan with Sheffield Wednesday ends and Nigel Clough has already said that he will instantly return to the squad that takes on Reading on Tuesday.
"Luke will be coming straight back and he will feature against Reading on Tuesday."
Clough was talking to the Evening Telegraph.
The 26-year-old has spent a month on loan with Wednesday, and despite not scoring in his three appearances so far it is believed that Varney has been impressive in his form at Hillsborough.
Varney signs off after Wednesday's match with Southampton on Saturday, so it would be good if he could end this with a goal. If the striker can return to Derby, and play a part with a goal against Reading next week, this would be even better!
