Bannan Loan Extended

Nigel Clough was hopeful of extending the loan of Barry Bannan, and a deal has been agreed to see him stay with Derby.

Bannan's initial one-month loan was due to end on Monday, after the meeting with Wolves, but an agreement has been reached with Aston Villa to keep the 19-year-old at Pride Park until the end of the season.

Aston Villa do have a 24-hour recall clause in the deal for the Scottish midfielder.
