Now Davies Is Out For The Season!
How many more players can Derby have ruled out for the season? Well Stephen Davies has become the latest!
A stress fracture of a metatarsal in his right foot requires surgery, which will keep the 21-year-old out for the rest of the season. So Davies follows Miles Addison, Paul Green and Dean Leacock in being ruled out for the rest of the season through injury.
Injuries have been cruel to Davies since his move from Tranmere last summer with a fractured eye socket and cheekbone, hernia problem, groin strain and an infected toe all keeping him out for spells this season but hopefully all his bad luck is out of the way now and he can return to full fitness for next season and show the form that he has shown on occasions, which has been promising, this season regularly without interruptions!
