Clough Happy For A Point

Clough Happy For A Point

Nigel Clough was happy to come away with a point against Barnsley on Saturday after a disappointing display in the 0-0 draw.

"We are relieved that we've come away with a point when we were under par.

"We're very pleased with a point, but not pleased with the performance, although you have to give Barnsley a lot of credit.

"They played well and we didn't, but we've got a point out of it and better off than we were before the start."

Clough was talking after the match.

An end of season feel has slipped into our game recently. We are not quite safe yet, but seem to be playing as such, playing like a side that doesn't have a lot to play for between now and the end of the season, but we do!

Clough, and we, will be hoping for better next time out, as the performances have been very below par recently.
