Derby slipped to what has been a rare defeat of late, following our 2-1 loss at Doncaster on Friday, but it was the defensive errors that Nigel Clough rued most of all.
'It's disappointing to go 1-0 up with 45 minutes to go and not get a minimum of a point, but we conceded two poor goals from our point of view.
'You get the lead and think, 'hang onto it for five or 10 and frustrate them', but we weren't able to do that due to defensive errors.
'It's a harmless shot and Stephen misjudged the bounce, it's 25 yards or 30 yards out and nine times out of 10 he would have saved it.'
Clough was talking to Sky Sports after the defeat.
Relegation isn't totally out of the question for us, but this is something that I think few of us have concerns over now, but this defeat has almost ended lingering hopes of a late surge for the Championship play-offs, hasn't it?
Poor defending allowed Doncaster to come from behind, after Robbie Savage gave us the lead, to get the win with the winner very much down to Stephen Bywater who allowed a shot that he would save almost every time to beat him. The goalkeeper needs to react to this, as do the defenders, who had looked as though we had got our act together. I'm sure all will though.
Its not all bad though is it, Clough is still building something that I'm sure will develop into a special season for Derby next time round.
