Clough: We've Achieved Nothing Yet!

Nigel Clough isn't getting carried away despite another Derby win on Saturday, following the 3-1 away win over Forest.

"We've achieved nothing yet. When we get the points we need to be safe in this division we will start saying that we have got somewhere but there is a lot of hard work to be done before we can relax.

"Having said that, I was very pleased with the way we performed against Forest, particularly for the first 20 minutes in each half.

"We were very impressive and silenced the crowd, which was something we set out to do.

"We've also bounced back with two wins in the week and scored seven goals in the process - and that's very pleasing."

Clough was talking after the win at the City Ground.

We have now won four on the bounce to see us up to 15th in the Championship table and ease possible relegation fears, all of which leaves the future looking bright under Clough. A late charge for the play-offs would seem unlikely this season, with us nine points off this, but a platform for the next is what we need to aim for now.

I think that relegation fears are now gone, a couple more wins and we can certainly relax and maybe even relex enough to make the football even better and push on for a late, late play-off surge?
