Horsefield deal falls through
Terry Westley says he won't be signing striker Geoff Horsefield from Sheffield United. Horsefield has been linked to the Rams ever since his spell on loan at WBA had turned sour. It seems personal terms could not be agreed on the deal.
Horsefield himself had been quoted as saying he was looking forward to paying at Pride Park. Derby are now left with a bare bones strike force ahead of saturdays match at home to Crystal Palace.
