Leeds beat Derby to sign Beckford

Derby County have missed out on signing in form striker Jermaine Beckford.

Leeds United have signed the 22 year old for an inital fee of 50,000 rising depending on appearances. Apparently Derby manager Terry Westley has been tracking him for some months.
