Savage Could Still Make Middle East Move?

Savage Could Still Make Middle East Move?

It is still possible that Robbie Savage could move to Lebanese club Al Ansar, according to their head coach Roy Thomas anyway.

A move had been ruled out with Savage's only visiting to the Middle East "on a break", but Thomas claims that the former Welsh could take up a player/coach role international.

'Robbie Savage was here last week and we are still interested in signing him.

'There is still a possibility of Robbie coming out to play for us.'

The 34-year-old remains out of favour at Pride Park and has been on loan with Brighton this season. The chances of Savage remaining a Derby player for the remainder of his contract do appear unlikely.
