Villa Gives Jewell Selection Headache

Tito Villa's hat-trick in our Carling Cup win on Tuesday gives Paul Jewell a selection headache for this weekends match with Reading, with Nathan Ellington also on target.

'Villa is a man in form.

'Strikers thrive on confidence and I am very pleased for him. He's a cracking lad and this will do him a lot of good.

'It will give me plenty to think about as regards team selection.'

Jewell was talking to the Evening Telegraph.

This hat-trick came off the back of the equalising goal against Forest on Sunday, a match in which he also scored at the wrong end, so Villa is very much in goalscoring form so Jewell will surely have to persevere with the striker in form wont he?

Or, he could play both?

It isn't a case of Villa or Ellington though is it, its a case of who to select from those and others.
