McEveley Back At Derby

McEveley Back At Derby

Jay McEveley has returned to Derby at the end of his one-month loan spell with Championship rivals Preston. The Scot returns to Pride Park with Preston boss Alan Irvine's thanks.

'I would like to thank Jay for the good work that he put in during his time at the club and wish him all the best for his future at Pride Park.'

Irvine was talking to Preston's official website.

The 23-year-old started seven matches for Preston, but has not had his loan extended due to the fact that Callum Davidson and Michael Hart are recovering well after injuries.
