Derby have refused to accept the tickets for the Championship match against QPR at Loftus Road a week Saturday (27th September) as it is believed the Londoners have upped an agreed price by £10.
'We think it's too high and we don't think that's fair. We have stood our ground and QPR have exercised their right to appeal that to the Football League.
'One of our biggest frustrations is the inconvenience it's causing fans.
'With going to London supporters may want to book a weekend and make an occasion of it.
'We expect a decision within 24 hours but either way, we will make sure our supporters aren't the victims of this situation.'
Club spokesman Matt McCann was talking to BBC Radio Derby.
£30 for adults and £20 for concessions are thought to have been agreed between the clubs in the summer but as QPR have recently restructured ticket prices for adults, ranging between £20 and £50, they have upped the price as a result.
I'm really pleased that we have stood our ground on this issue and the club haven't just sat back and allowed QPR to rip us off! This isn't ideal though as if you want to go to the match as accommodation, should you be staying, needs to be organised we need to know what's happening sharpish.
