Rams continue striker hunt

Rams director of football Murdo Mackay is still looking for a ‘big' striker as derby look to strengthen their squad ahead of the match against Burnley this weekend. The priority seems to be a tall centre forward who can add another dimension to the Rams depleted strike force.

Having just signed Michael McIndoe from Doncaster Rovers, Mackay still feels that Derby need another striker. “With Lisbie (above)limping out on Saturday and pesh carrying a knock” said Mackay “it would be useful for us to have more variety”

Derby have been unlucky this season with injuries to strikers. They have failed to have a settled pairing up front, who have been able to build up a good goal scoring partnership.
