'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Dickinson Exits Derby Already!

Derby only signed Liam Dickson from Stockport this summer, but he has already left Pride Park to join Huddersfield Town on a month's loan. Paul Jewell says that he still has a big part to play in our future, but the loan with the League One club is the right thing to do.

'Liam's development will be aided by playing in front of big crowds regularly in League One with Huddersfield, where expectations are high this season.

'Liam is still very much part of our plans and we are hoping that first-team football will hasten his progression to come back and play a big part in Derby County's first-team squad over the coming years.

Jewell was talking to the official website.

The 22-year-old was currently behind Nathan Ellington, Rob Hulse and Emanuel Villa in Jewell's pecking order.
