Bywater Off To Tottenham?

Stephen Bywater is being linked with a surprise return to the Premier League with Tottenham.

The 27-year-old goalkeeper is fighting for his Rams future, along with Lewis Price, as Paul Jewell has said that one of the two will probably be moved on as he doesn't need the pair as back up for Roy Carroll.

Tottenham have signed Heurelho Gomes, but with Paul Robinson leaving for Blackburn they could be in the market for another goalkeeper, as they had to field a 17-year-old earlier in the week, so Bywater could be the surprise choice if reports are to be believed!

It seems pretty unlikely though that he would go from third choice at Derby to second choice at Tottenham though doesn't it?
