Derby At Oldham Ends In A Draw

Derby At Oldham Ends In A Draw

Paul Jewell saw his Derby side continue the Championship preparations with a 1-1 draw at Oldham Athletic on Wednesday night.

Przemyslaw Kazmierczak was handed his first start since his loan switch from Porto was completed, with him replaced by Robbie Savage at half time. Trialist John Oster also featured again from the start.

Emanuel Villa gave us the lead, but this didn't last long and Oldham were level in front of the home crowd only five minutes later. No further goals came in the second half as the Boundary Park encounter ended in a draw

It was disappointing that we again failed to win, but at least we scored this time. It is another step towards where we, and Paul Jewell want to be though and will prove yet another useful match to get under our belts.
