Pearson On His Way To Birmingham

Stephen Pearson has been destined to leave Derby for a while now, and this finally looks like being concluded as an approach from Birmingham has been accepted. He just needs to agree terms with them.

'I spoke to Alex McLeish and the clubs have agreed a fee for Stephen. It is now up to them to sort the deal out.'

Jewell was speaking to the Evening Telegraph.

Pearson was loaned out to Stoke for the final months of last season and has been linked with Birmingham for a while now. We were thought to be holding out for £1m, but have accepted a bid believed to be in the region of £600,000 for the Scottish International.
