Jewell Reveals Approaches For Three Players

Paul Jewell has revealed that Derby have made approached for three players as he looks to add yet further to the summer signings he has already made.

'We have made offers for two strikers and a midfielder that we are hoping will happen.'

Jewell was speaking to the official website.

He wasn't giving much away but it is believed that the strikers are Wigan's Marlon King and Sheffield United's Rob Hulse, but the midfielder remains a mystery however he is believed to be based in Europe and has plenty of European experience, including Champions League football. Jewell had previously said that we couldn't afford king, so a loan approach might be what we are trying with him, if he even is one of the targets?
