Stewart Targets Rams Promotion

New signing Jordan Stewart is hoping to complete a hat-trick by gaining promotion with Derby, having achieved this with Leicester and Watford previously, and he feels he can gain this with us this season, but knows how difficult it is to go back up when you have just been relegated.

'I've had promotions with Leicester and Watford so I know what it's like to get up from this division.

'We've got the quality players here so hopefully everything will fall into place for us, but going straight back up when you've just been relegated is never easy.

'At Watford last season we had a great start, then we hit a bad patch and after that we were struggling to get out of it.

'What that proves is that over the course of the whole season you have to give 100% all of the time.'

Stewart was talking to the official website.

You wouldn't expect Stewart to be saying anything other than he has about us getting promoted again, and he is dead right about how hard it is to gain an instant return following relegation, but so long as all the players that we have signed gel, and gel quickly we can do this.

You'll soon find out how ***** Jordon is. Spoon foot (as we called him) can't pass the ball to save his life. He can just boot it as far as he can. He is nearly as bad as Ellington. You'll see with your own eyes soon. Be afraid, be very afraid.....
