Bodde Makes Fresh Derby Claims

Reports on Sky Sports say that Ferrie Bodde has said that Swansea have agreed to let him leave the club to finally complete a move to Derby.

'The talk of a transfer to Derby has been dragging on for too long now.

'I had a personal meeting with the manager [Martinez], he is a good man and has helped me since I have played in the UK and he understands the reasons I want to leave and he told me that there can be a deal with Derby.

'Everyone at Swansea has been great with me and they are a great club, I will always love them but Derby is a big club, with big players and big finances and a history of playing in the Premier League.

'Everybody knows that's what I want. Now I just hope a deal can be done this week.'

Bodde was speaking to Sky Sports.

I'm fed up with the whole situation now and just wanted it sorted for good one way or the other.

Nothing seems to be changing, you get different spins on things but on the whole it is the same broken records being played. It has been obvious from the very beginning that he wants to leave Swansea, and understandably they didn't want to lose him. Its time for this matter to be resolved one way or the other over the coming week, if a fee is agreed it will happen and we will sign him, if not as much as Bodde might want this move it wont end of, everyone moves on once and for all.

I know that I've had enough of this whole saga, I'm fed up with accusations that are being made which are then counted, which then often involves mud being slung by the two sets of fans so I wont be covering it again here on Vital Derby unless a move is finally confirmed by the official website at some point!
