Bodde Saga Takes Another Twist!

The Ferrie Bodde transfer saga has taken yet another twist with reports that the Dutchman is now refusing to go on Swansea's pre-season tour of Sweden as he wants the club to accept our offer for him.

Bodde seems to have made it clear he wants to come to Pride Park, and if this latest news is true then he is really trying to force the hand of Roberto Martinez and company into letting him complete his move to us. But do they accept this, or stand their ground?

All of this is just speculation at the moment but as much as I would like to see Bodde play for Derby, as would Paul Jewell, I think it is another example of the sad state of affairs that the game of football, which was once run by those in control of the clubs but is now almost completely run by the players themselves, had gotten itself into. Far too much power is in the hands of the players these days, and the more power they have the worse I feel the consequences for the beautiful game will be!

Should these rumours of his refusal to tour with the Swans prove true, and should he finally complete his move to Derby could we have the worry that we might find ourselves in the same position as Swansea in 12-months time should he prove a smash hit at Pride Park? It does make you wonder.

If you took the time to read the article taylor2078, and didn't just jump in without reading I think you will find I am not lying, and this was written on Monday night shortly after "reports" of Bodde refusing to travel came out. I CLEARLY point out that IF (if being the key word) reports are true its taken another twist. So no one (apart from the tabloids, if they even are!) is bull*****ting!!! WHY does it always have to be bull*****ting from the Derby side anyway? Have you not thought that maybe Swansea tell a few pork pies?

at the end of the day rammie we are in the driving seat pay us what we want for him and you can have him im fed up with the whole situatin now and read my article correctly tit head i said your website was lying not you he has not been house hunting up north look forwad to seeingyou getting your arses kicked by us and Forest
taylor2078
Its not my fault that your best player wants out taylor, complain to him and take it out on him not me. I wouldn't start dragging about seeing us getting our arses kicked by Forest or anyone else yet though as you could be in for a long season, even more so if Bodde finally leave, which I'm as fed up as you are with the whole situation!
