Pearson Move To Forest A No Go?

It was being reported that Stephen Pearson could become the latest player to cross the divide between Derby and Forest, but Adam Pearson has denied these reports.

'There is nothing in that.'

Pearson was quoted in the Evening Telegraph.

A fee of 1m would've taken Pearson to Forest according to these reports, making him the third player to switch between the two sides this summer following Rob Earnshaw's move to Forest and Kris Commons' move to Pride Park, but this will not be the case.

The man who scored the goal to get us into the Premier League still looks like having an uncertain future with the club, but for now at least it looks like he will be remaining here, well at least not going to Forest!

I am sure that will be a bitter pill to swallow if he leaves.

Not really, I'm almost expecting him to leave, unless you mean a bitter pill in as much as him signing for Forest?
