Notts County Land Beardsley On A Three-Month Loan

Jason Beardsley, a highly-rated defender and product of our Academy system, has been allowed to join Notts County on a three-month loan in order to gain some first-team experience.

The 18-year-old made his senior debut in last seasons Carling Cup against Blackpool, and did make the bench in a few Premier League fixtures last season but was unused on each occasion.

His loan switch to Notts County, where he will see a familiar face in Michael Johnson who returned to his former side following his release, will give him the chance to gain some valuable experience. Although this deal could be extended he will return to Pride Park eventually as he should have a bright future a head of him.
