Moore Moves To Barnsley

Darren Moore has this evening left Derby as was expected, but his eventually destination of Barnsley does come as somewhat of a surprise.

Bradford had looked favourites to sign him, but set him a deadline to decide if he was going to return to his former club but having failed to make this they turned their attentions elsewhere. He was also linked with Leicester, but this didn't happen, with him instead joining our Championship rivals Barnsley on a two-year contract after being given a free transfer.

The 34-year-old, current Rams Player of the Year will be a good addition to their squad.
