'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Time To Give Us What We Deserve

Paul Jewell is welcoming the expectation that we (the fans) will have this season, and is welcoming the challenge of getting us back to the Premier League, but most importantly giving us what we deserve once again. A team that plays with pride!

'The fans won't put up with the stuff they saw last season.

'But they want us to show the fight and desire and pride that was sadly lacking.

'I would rather manage a team that is expected to win rather than one getting beaten by five every other week.

'I want that kind of challenge. That brings a different expectation. Bring it on.'

Jewell was talking to the Daily Star.

It is time to put the pride back into Pride Park, and Jewell is certainly saying the right things. He will be raising the expectations levels by this, but if this is what he wants who are we to argue and why should we want anything different?

Looks like he's almost completely changed the team for the season ahead.
