Expect Another Three Or Four Major Signings!

Paul Jewell's remoulding of the Derby squad has already seen seven new players arrive this summer, but Adam Pearson is telling us to expect more.

The departure of David Jones to Wolves has raised more money, and this will go towards further singings with Pearson expecting us to announce another three or four major signings before the season kicks off.

'This is all part of the major re-structuring here and there is real progress behind the scenes in terms of bringing the new players we want to the club.

'I am confident we will be in a position to announce three or four major new signings in the coming weeks and certainly before the campaign starts in August.'

Pearson was talking to the Evening Telegraph.

If our chairman is saying such things you would hope this will happen.

Looks more and more likely that Dicko is off to you or Notts Forest for a reported fee of 1.2 million offered by Notts. You will have to top that I'm afraid! We don't NEED to sell him so why not get as much as we can for him?
